Legacy Charter School -- Where Miracles Happen

There is a place where miracles occur on a regular basis: the Legacy Charter School in North Lawndale, Chicago. In a tough part of town, Legacy is an oasis where children from junior kindergarten through third grade, learn in an environment of empowerment, commitment, nurture and safety, where extraordinary teachers and parents combine to create a new future.

Some of my colleagues at the Sonnenschein firm (http://www.sonnenschein.com) participate in many ways to support the Legacy Scholars: some are tutors, some serve on the Board of Directors, some participate in other ways. Here is a recent image from the Legacy Winter Wonderland Party:
